Dr. Kishore Raj Pradhan

Dr. Pradhan is the Founder, the Medical Director and a Senior Refractive Surgeon at Matrika Eye Center, Kathmandu and the Founder and Board Member of Matrika Eye Foundation. He is trainer for refractive surgeons across South East Asia. He is the First Refractive Surgeon of Nepal. He is a Senior Ophthalmologist with 23 years of work experience in the field of Ophthalmology. He is the pioneer in the development of Relex SMILE for myopia and hyperopia for Carl Zeiss Meditech in Nepal and is the Key Opinion Leader for Atos Femtosecond Laser, Schwind Eye Tech Solutions and the first person to develop SmartSight laser procedure at Matrika Eye Center, Kathmandu.

Dr. Pradhan did his schooling from Tashi Namgyal Academy, Sikkim, India. He did his M.B.B.S from Shyam Shah Medical College, Rewa, Madhya Pradesh, India. He pursued his Post Graduation Diploma in Ophthalmology from Kasturba Medical College, Manipal, India. He further perused his Master’s Degree from National Institute of Medical Science from Nepal Eye Hospital, Kathmandu. He did his Fellowship in Refractive Surgery with Prof. Dan Reinstein, London Vision Clinic in London.
