Prof. Dr. Chandra Maya Gurung

Prof Dr. Chandra Maya Gurung is a Senior Paediatric ophthalmologist and Strabismologist. She did her MBBS from Manipal college of Medical Sciences (KU), Pokhara in the year 1999. In 2007 she completed her MD in Ophthalmology from National Academy of Medical Sciences (NAMS), Kathmandu. She started her career as an Ophthalmologist from Fateh-Bal Eye Hospital, Nepalgunj from 2007 to Dec 2016. She completed a year fellowship in Paediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus from Dr shroff’s Charity Eye hospital, New Delhi, India in 2012. Since 2017 she has been working as an Ophthalmologist in Nepal Eye Hospital, Tripureshwor. She is a Professor in Ophthalmology from National Academy of Medical Sciences (NAMS).

Prof. Dr. Gurung is currently associated with Matrika Eye Center, Kathmandu, where she provides specialized care in Paediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus.
